We are pleased to announce that “LOTTE-IEEE-UFFC STUDENT AWARD” program is opened for graduate student who attends the AMF-AMEC-2010 conference. This program is supported by THE LOTTE FOUNDATION (http://www.lottefoundation.or.kr/) and IEEE ULTRASONICS, FERROELECTRICS AND FREQUENCY CONTROL SOCIETY (http://www.ieee-uffc.org/main/index.asp).
   
The details of “LOTTE-IEEE-UFFC STUDENT AWARD” program is following.
   

Name: LOTTE-IEEE-UFFC STUDENT AWARD
Awardees: 10 graduate students
Award: $500 for each student
Document: Essay and Brief resume
                  Essay should include i) the excellence of candidate’s presentation and
                                              ii) the justification of request.
                  Brief resume should include the candidate’s scientific records.
Due: June 14 (Monday) [Send documents to general secretary by e-mail amf.amec.2010@gmail.com]
Awarding date: June 30 (Wednesday)
                          [Awards will be given to winner during banquet.]
Requirement: Candidates should register to apply the award.
 

EXCELLENT POSTER PRESENTATION AWARDS
We are pleased to announce that “Excellent poster presentation awards” program is opened for graduate student who attends the AMF-AMEC-2010 conference. Based on scientific excellence of research, the organizing committee awards a prize to 27 poster presenters. For each Poster session, the first prize will be given for 3 presenters (9 in total) and the second prize will be given for 6 presenters (18 in total). All first prized posters will be exhibited till the end of the conference. The details of “EXCELLENT POSTER PRESENTATION AWARDS” program is following.
   
The details of “Excellent poster presentation awards ” program is following.
   

Name: EXCELLENT POSTER PRESENTATION AWARDS
Awardees: 27 graduate students (9 students for the first prize and 18 students for the second prize)
Award: $200 for each first prize and $100 for each second prize
Awarding date: July 1 (Thursday) [Awards will be given to winner during closing remark.]
 
Since almost 200 posters will be presented during each poster session, we will review only applicants’ posters. The application form will be available at the on-site registration desk during the conference dates. Please fill up the application form and send it to secretary before AM 10:40 for each day.
